It's the Germs that get sacked, not you.
The spread of dangerous infectious diseases for athletes participating in football is a real and preventable danger. Cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing and deodorizing football equipment with a safe, EPA approved product has not been an option until now - with Germ Blitz.
Helmets, shoulder pads, cleats, chin straps, braces, knee pads, and shins guards can be the perfect breeding grounds for dangerous bacteria. Football equipment is often stored in an equipment bag or locker. The players' sweaty equipment sitting in a dark gear bag or locker can become a perfect breeding ground for dangerous bacteria and viruses. Furthermore, every parent, player and coach knows how much the gear bags and equipment stink.
Players' lives have been ruined and in some cases cut short due to contracting a communicable disease while participating in football. In 2003 five members of the NFL's St. Louis Rams became infected with MRSA. In 2008 a high school football player Osceola, Florida died of complications from MRSA. In 2010 four players on the Weslaco East High School football team were diagnosed with MRSA infections, one being hospitalized. In 2008 a high school football player in Philadelphia died after contracting MRSA. In 2003 Miami Dolphins linebacker Junior Seau was hospitalized after contracting MRSA. Former Cleveland Browns players LeCharles Bentley, Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards and Joe Jurevicius all contracted MRSA. And the list of football players infected with and affected by MRSA goes on.
But it isn't just MRSA your athletes have to worry about. Football programs have been shut down because of outbreaks of the H1N1 Flu virus. Schools, universities and teams have spent millions disinfecting after an outbreak. How many athletes have been unable to play, just because of a preventable infection like ringworm or sever athlete's foot?
To protect the athlete and to help keep them on the field, use Germ Blitz to kill the germs and get the stink out. We recommend that after every practice or game the players' equipment should be thoroughly disinfected with Germ Blitz and allowed to completely dry.
